18.2-360. Competency of persons to testify in prosecutions under 18.2-355 through 18.2-361.

Any male or female referred to in 18.2-355 through 18.2-361 shall be acompetent witness in any prosecution under such sections to testify to anyand all matters, including conversations by or with the accused with thirdpersons in his or her presence, notwithstanding he or she may have marriedthe accused either before or after the violation of any of the provisions ofthis section; but such witness shall not be compelled to testify after suchmarriage.
