18.2-135. Destruction of posted signs; posting land of another.

Any person who shall mutilate, destroy or take down any "posted," "nohunting" or similar sign or poster on the lands or waters of another, or whoshall post such sign or poster on the lands or waters of another, without theconsent of the landowner or his agent, shall be deemed guilty of a Class 3misdemeanor and his hunting license shall be revoked for a period notexceeding the expiration date of such license.
