15.2-707. Bonds of county officers and employees.

The county officers shall give such bonds as are now required by general law,except that the bond of the treasurer shall be in such penalty as the courtor judge requires, but not less than fifteen percent of the amount to bereceived annually by him. In addition, the board may fix and require bonds inexcess of the amounts so required, and may require bonds of other countyofficers and employees in the board's discretion, conditioned on the faithfuldischarge of their duties and the proper accounting for all funds coming intotheir possession.
