15.2-2288.2. Localities may not require special use permit for certaintemporary structures.

A zoning ordinance shall not require that a special exception or special usepermit be obtained in order to erect a tent on private property (i) intendedto serve as a temporary structure for a period of three days or less and (ii)that will be used primarily for private or family-related events including,but not limited to, weddings and estate sales.
