10.1-1152. State Forester may require permits and fees.

The State Forester is authorized, with the approval of the Board, to requireany person who hunts or traps on any of the lands described in 10.1-1151 toobtain a special use permit or special use permits. Permits to hunt on anysuch lands shall be issued for a fee, not to exceed $15 annually for eachpermit, as fixed by the State Forester. Permits to trap on such lands may beissued in combination with the hunting permits, or separately, at a fee notto exceed $15 annually for each such permit, to be fixed by the StateForester.
