§ 1663. Manner of sale of encumbered property; deed

Such sale shall be made in such manner as the court directs. The sale of such real estate shall be at public auction unless it can otherwise be sold for a sum sufficient to satisfy the mortgage secured thereon. The executor or administrator and creditor shall execute the necessary deeds and papers for effecting the conveyance.
