§ 1660. License granted by court, when; notice; hearing

A probate division of the superior court shall not grant such license to deed the lands of a deceased person until notice has been given if it appears to the court upon a hearing that the assets in the hands of the executor or administrator will thereby be so reduced as to prevent a creditor from receiving his or her whole debt, or diminish his or her dividend. (Amended 1985, No. 144 (Adj. Sess.), § 79; 2009, No. 154 (Adj. Sess.), § 238a, eff. Feb. 1, 2011.)
