§ 1615. Claims may be sold or assigned

Claims belonging to an estate remaining in the hands of an executor or administrator before final settlement of such estate, which, in the opinion of the probate division of the superior court, cannot be collected by the executor or administrator without unreasonable or inconvenient delay, may be sold or assigned by the executor or administrator, under the direction of the probate division of the superior court.
