§ 663 Lapsed licenses or registrations
§ 663. Lapsed licenses or registrations
(a) Failure to renew a license by the renewal date shall result in a lapsed license subject to late renewal penalties pursuant to 3 V.S.A. § 125(a)(1).
(b) A person whose license or registration has lapsed may not practice and may be subject to disciplinary action.
(c) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (a) of this section, a person shall not be required to pay renewal fees or late renewal penalties for years spent on active duty in the armed forces of the United States. A person who returns from active duty shall be required to pay only the most current biennial renewal fee. (Added 2011, No. 116 (Adj. Sess.), § 13.)
