[Activation of National Guard to Assist Vermont State Police and the
City of Burlington]
Pursuant to authority vested in me as Governor of Vermont and Commander-in-Chief, Vermont National Guard, and having determined the necessity of public service requires it, I hereby order and direct the Adjutant General of Vermont to order into service members of the National Guard for the purpose of assisting the Vermont State Police and the City of Burlington Police Department in crowd control relating to protestors at the 87th Annual National Governors' Association meeting.
Pay for personnel performing the state service shall be in accordance with the provisions of 20 V.S.A. Section 601.
