7-7-2.1. Closing of courthouse for emergency or severe weather--Emergency defined.

The chairman of the board of county commissioners at his discretion may close the courthouse in case of emergency or severe weather and each such closing shall be for no more than one business day. The public shall be adequately notified. An emergency for the purpose of this section is an unforeseen occurrence or combination of circumstances which calls for immediate action or remedy.
