46A-7A-37. Time director assumes duties. Any director elected in compliance with § 46A-7A-24 shall enter immediately into the duties of the office upon qualifying as provided in § 46A-7A-38 and shall hold office until the next regular election of the district, when a successor is elected and qualified. Any director elected thereafter shall assume the duties of the office on the last Tuesday in November after the election and shall hold office until a successor is elected and qualified.
