Section 570.355 - Packing or delivery for shipment of infected fruit is misdemeanor; manufacture into by-product permitted.

Each person who packs or prepares for shipment to any point within the state, or who delivers or causes to be delivered to any express agent or railroad agent or other person or to any transportation company or corporation for shipment to any point without the state, any fresh, cured or dried fruit infected with insect pests or diseases injurious to trees, shrubs, plants, fruits or vegetables is guilty of a misdemeanor. This section does not prevent the grower of such infected fruit grown within this state from manufacturing the same into a by-product or selling and shipping the same to a by-product factory.
