Section 458.584 - Court Appointed Special Advocate Fund.


OR Rev Stat § 458.584 (2013) What's This?

(1) The Court Appointed Special Advocate Fund is created within the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. Interest earned by the Court Appointed Special Advocate Fund shall be credited to the fund.

(2) Moneys in the Court Appointed Special Advocate Fund shall consist of:

(a) Amounts appropriated or otherwise transferred to the fund by the Legislative Assembly;

(b) Amounts received from state, federal and private sources;

(c) Amounts donated to the fund; and

(d) Other amounts deposited in the fund from any source.

(3) Moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated to the Housing and Community Services Department for the Oregon Volunteers Commission for Voluntary Action and Service established under ORS 458.555 for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 419B.112 and 458.581.

(4) The department may use moneys in the fund to pay the administrative costs of the commission associated with the fund and with carrying out the provisions of ORS 419B.112 and 458.581. [2012 c.97 §5]
