There is created in the Oregon Health Authority the Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research. The Administrator of the Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research shall be appointed by the Director of the Oregon Health Authority. The administrator shall be an individual with demonstrated proficiency in planning and managing programs with complex public policy and fiscal aspects such as those involved in the medical assistance program.
