§70-3242.3. Resident tuition eligibility for armed forces scholarship students.

70 OK Stat § 70-3242.3 (2014) What's This?

A. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall adopt a policy which allows a student to enroll in an institution within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education and be eligible for resident tuition if the student:

1. Satisfies admission standards as determined by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for the appropriate type of institution and has secured admission to and enrolled in an institution within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education; and

2. Presents to the institution valid documentation of receipt of an Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps or Navy/Marines Reserve Officers' Training Corps full scholarship.

B. Students who are only participants in or who have received only partial scholarships from the Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps or the Navy/Marines Reserve Officers' Training Corps shall not be eligible for resident tuition as provided for in subsection A.

C. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section.
