Section 5111.944 - Integrated care delivery systems fund.


Ohio Rev Code § 5111.944 (2012) What's This?

(A) As used in this section:

"Dual eligible individual" has the same meaning as in section 1915(h)(2)(B) of the "Social Security Act," 124 Stat. 315 (2010), 42 U.S.C. 1396n(h)(2)(B).

"Dual eligible integrated care demonstration project" means the demonstration project authorized by section 5111.981 of the Revised Code.

"Medicare program" means the program created under Title XVIII of the "Social Security Act," 79 Stat. 286 (1965), 42 U.S.C. 1395, as amended.

(B) There is created in the state treasury the integrated care delivery systems fund. If the terms of the federal approval for the dual eligible integrated care demonstration project provide for the state to receive a portion of the amounts that the demonstration project saves the medicare program, such amounts shall be deposited into the fund. The department of job and family services shall use the money in the fund to further develop integrated delivery systems and improved care coordination for dual eligible individuals.
