2803-AA - Sickle Cell Disease Information Distribution.

* § 2803-aa. Sickle cell disease information distribution. The commissioner shall design an informational packet about sickle cell disease, including screening, prevention, and treatment information. Every general hospital shall distribute the packet to every patient, or, if the patient lacks capacity to make health care decisions, to a person who has authority to make health care decisions for the patient, who is suspected to be at high risk of inheriting sickle cell disease.
