17-1704 - Succession of powers and duties.

    §  17-1704 Succession of powers and duties. In every such village, all
  the powers and duties imposed by law upon the town board of the town  or
  upon  any officer of the town or commissioners or boards of any district
  in relation to any water  district,  or  any  lamp  or  street  lighting
  district,  or  any  sewer  district,  or  any  fire district, created or
  organized under the provisions of the town law, shall  devolve  and  are
  hereby  imposed  upon  the  board  of  trustees of such village, and all
  contracts in relation to such  districts  or  any  improvements  therein
  shall be performed and completed by the said board of trustees.
