Universal Citation: NM Stat § 23-5-1 (2020)

The object of the New Mexico behavioral health institute at Las Vegas is the observation, diagnosis, treatment, care and maintenance of the mentally ill.

The 2005 amendment, effective June 17, 2005, changed the name of the Las Vegas medical center to the New Mexico behavioral institute at Las Vegas.
