62-12-4. Violation of orders. (1993) 
Any person or corporation which violates any provision of the Public Utility Act [62-13-1 NMSA 1978] or which fails, omits or neglects to obey, observe or comply with any lawful order, or any part or provision thereof, of the commission is subject to a penalty of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for each offense.
