25-4-2. [Peddling beef without license; penalty.]

Any person found peddling beef without first having obtained the license provided for in the preceding section [25-4-1 NMSA 1978], shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five [($25.00)] nor more than five hundred dollars [($500)], or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than three months nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment and the violation of any of the provisions of said section shall constitute a separate offense for each day that such provisions are violated.
