59A-33-3. Purpose.
It is the purpose of the Workers' Compensation Assigned Risk Pool Law [Chapter 59A, Article 33 NMSA 1978] to provide for the insurance of workers' compensation insurance risks that have, in good faith but without success, sought insurance in the usual manner from any two or more insurers authorized to transact in New Mexico the business of workers' compensation insurance and to provide for the equitable distribution of risks among commercial line insurers.
