Chapter 184-A - NORTHEAST INTERSTATE DAIRY COMPACT
Section 184-A:2 - New Hampshire Delegation.

NH Rev Stat § 184-A:2 (2015) What's This?

    184-A:2 New Hampshire Delegation. –
    I. In accordance with Article III, section 1 of the compact established under RSA 184-A:1, the New Hampshire delegation shall be composed of 3 delegates:
       (a) One dairy farmer who is engaged in the production of milk.
       (b) One representative of consumer interests.
       (c) One owner or officer of a fluid milk processing or distribution plant.
    II. The governor, with the consent of council, shall appoint all delegates. Initially, one delegate shall be appointed for a term of one year, one for a term of 2 years, and one for a term of 3 years. All subsequent appointments shall be for 3 years. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment for the unexpired term.
