[RSA 119:14 effective until September 12, 2015; see also RSA 119:14 set out below.]
    119:14 Compensation of Board Members. –
    No member of the board, excepting the secretary, shall receive compensation for any services rendered; but the necessary expenses actually incurred by each member in the performance of his duties shall be paid by the state. The board may fix the compensation of the secretary, to be paid in like manner.
    119:14 Compensation of Board Members. --
    No member of the board shall receive compensation for any services rendered. Mileage shall be paid from the member's home of residence to and from the veterans' home or any other place designated under special conditions by the chairman.
