Chapter 676A - Uniform Debt-Management Services Act
NRS 676A.450 - Holder of certificate to register and maintain unique identifier; Commissioner authorized to issue certificate through Registry; references to Commissioner deemed references to Registry. [Effective on the date on which the Commissioner of Financial Institutions notifies the Governor and the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau that the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry has sufficient capabilities to allow the Commissioner to carry out the provisions of chapter 347, Statutes of Nevada 2021, at page 2030.]

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 676A.450 (2022)

1. Each holder of a certificate of registration shall register with and maintain a valid unique identifier with the Registry.

2. The Commissioner may issue a certificate of registration through the Registry.

3. To the extent that the Commissioner has delegated to the Registry any of his or her duties with respect to the issuance and renewal of certificates of registration as authorized by this chapter, any reference to the Commissioner in this chapter shall be deemed to be a reference to the Registry.

4. As used in this section, "unique identifier" means a number or other identifier assigned by the protocols established by the Registry.
