Chapter 656A - Sign Language Interpreters and Realtime Captioning Providers
NRS 656A.010 - Legislative declaration.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 656A.010 (2022)

The practice of sign language interpreting and the practice of realtime captioning are hereby declared to be learned professions, affecting public health, safety and welfare, and are subject to regulation to protect the general public from the practice of sign language interpreting and the practice of realtime captioning by unqualified persons.
