Chapter 640 - Physical Therapists, Physical Therapists’ Assistants and Physical Therapists’ Technicians
NRS 640.175 - Penalty for unauthorized use of letters, words or insignia indicating or implying person is licensed physical therapist’s assistant.
1. Who is not licensed under NRS 640.230 to 640.290, inclusive, as a physical therapist’s assistant;
2. Whose license has been suspended or revoked; or
3. Whose license has expired and has not been reinstated,
↪ and who uses in connection with his or her name the words or letters “P.T.A.” or “Physical Therapist’s Assistant,” or any other letters, words or insignia indicating or implying that he or she is a licensed physical therapist’s assistant, or who in any other way, orally, or in writing, or in print, by sign, directly, or by implication, represents himself or herself as a licensed physical therapist’s assistant, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
