NRS 576.048 - Revocation for default; publication of notice of revocation.

NV Rev Stat § 576.048 (2014) What's This?

1. If the Department receives notice from a producer of livestock or farm products or the producer s agent or consignee of the default of a licensed dealer, broker or commission merchant, the Department shall issue an order to the licensee to show cause why his or her license should not be revoked. The notice must be in writing and set forth a time and place for a hearing to be held before the Director.

2. If a license is revoked pursuant to subsection 1, the Director shall, by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the area, notify all known producers of livestock or farm products in the area in which the licensee operated that the license has been revoked.
