247.182 Obstructions; road fence if dangerous, penalty.

Sec. 12.

It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect a fence along any road, of any material which, by reason of its construction or otherwise, is dangerous in itself or by reason of causing an obstruction to the highway. Any person violating the provisions hereof shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than 15 dollars, nor more than 50 dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
