§ 9-103 - Public chartering authority


MD Educ Code § 9-103 (2013) What's This?

§9-103.

(a) The primary public chartering authority for the granting of a charter shall be a county board of education.

(b) The secondary public chartering authority for the granting of a charter shall be the State Board acting in its appeal review capacity or as the public chartering authority for a restructured school in accordance with § 9-104(a) of this title.
