CORRECTIONAL SERVICES
§ 6-101 - Definitions
§6-101.
(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b) “Commission” means the Maryland Parole Commission.
(c) “Crime of violence” has the meaning stated in § 14-101 of the Criminal Law Article.
(d) “Director” means the Director of the Division or the Director’s designee.
(e) “Division” means the Division of Parole and Probation.
(f) “Mandatory supervision” has the meaning stated in § 7-101 of this article.
(g) “Offender” means an individual on parole or under mandatory supervision.
(h) “Parolee” means an individual who has been released on parole.
(i) “Program” means a home detention program established under § 6-108 of this subtitle.
