§ 6-401 - Penalty in lieu of refusing or cancelling registration [Effective July 1, 2013].

§6-401.

(a) Instead of refusing or cancelling a registration, the Secretary may impose an administrative penalty on any person who violates any provision of this title.

(b) The penalty imposed under this section may not exceed $2,000.

(c) All penalties collected under this section shall be paid into the General Fund of the State.

(d) The Secretary shall adopt regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this section.

(b) Limit. -- The penalty imposed under this section may not exceed $ 2,000.

(c) Use of Funds. -- All penalties collected under this section shall be paid into the State Chemist Fund under § 6-501 of this title.

(d) Regulations. -- The Secretary shall adopt regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
