§20004. Office established

1. Administrative location. The Office of Substance Abuse is established as an administrative unit of the Department of Health and Human Services. The office is a distinct unit within the Department of Health and Human Services and is the sole agency of the State responsible for administering this Act.

2. Continuity. The Department of Health and Human Services shall strive to ensure the continuity of programs and policies, to be carried out under this Act that have been transferred to it from the department.
