TITLE 46
PUBLIC WELFARE AND ASSISTANCE
CHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
§1. Definitions
As used in this Title, the following definitions shall apply:
(1) "Department" means the Department of Children and Family Services or the Department of Health and Hospitals.
(2) "Secretary" means the secretary of the Department of Children and Family Services or the Department of Health and Hospitals.
(3) "Parish or district office" means parish or district office of the Department of Children and Family Services or the Department of Health and Hospitals.
(4) "Parish director" means the director of the parish or district office.
(5) "Recipient" means the person who has received assistance under this Title.
(6) "Assistance" means money payments under this Title.
