Except as otherwise provided by KRS 407.5101 to 407.5902, a responding tribunal of this state shall: (1) Apply the procedural and substantive law generally applicable to similar proceedings originating in this state and may exercise all powers and provide all remedies available in those proceedings; and (2) Determine the duty of support and the amount payable in accordance with the law and support guidelines of this state. Effective: June 24, 2015 History: Amended 2015 Ky. Acts ch. 18, sec. 16, effective June 24, 2015. -- Contingent effective date repealed 1998 Ky. Acts ch. 101, sec. 20, effective March 23, 1998. -Created 1996 Ky. Acts ch. 365, sec. 27, effective upon contingency.
