The Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs and the State Interagency Council for Services to Children shall be the only statutory bodies attached to the cabinet that shall have the authority to issue administrative regulations. No other corporate body or instrumentality of the Commonwealth, advisory committee, interstate compact, or other statutory body, presently attached to the cabinet, shall issue administrative regulations but shall operate only in an advisory capacity. Effective: July 15, 1998 History: Created 1998 Ky. Acts ch. 426, sec. 12, effective July 15, 1998. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/15/14). In 2014 Ky. Acts ch. 132, sec. 18, the State Interagency Council for Services to Children with an Emotional Disability was renamed the State Interagency Council for Services to Children. Under the authority if KRS 7.136(2), the Reviser of Statutes has corrected the reference to that council that appears in this statute.
