(1) (2) Remedies provided by KRS 407.5101 to 407.5902 are cumulative and do not affect the availability of remedies under other law or the recognition of a foreign support order on the basis of comity. The provisions of KRS 407.5101 to 407.5902 do not: (a) Provide the exclusive method of establishing or enforcing a support order under the law of this state; or (b) Grant a tribunal of this state jurisdiction to render judgment or issue an order relating to child custody or visitation. Effective: June 24, 2015 History: Amended 2015 Ky. Acts ch. 18, sec. 2, effective June 24, 2015. -- Contingent effective date repealed 1998 Ky. Acts ch. 101, sec. 20, effective March 23, 1998. -Created 1996 Ky. Acts ch. 365, sec. 15, effective upon contingency.
