The Long-Term Care Coordinating Council shall have the following duties: (1) To develop a statewide policy for the provision of long-term care and supervise the implementation of such policy; (2) To coordinate the activities of the cabinet with respect to long-term care; (3) To prepare an annual report on long-term care to the General Assembly and to the Governor containing the following: (a) The status of implementation of the state long-term care policy; (b) An appraisal of the problems of residents of long-term care facilities; (c) An overview of the activities of the council; and (d) Recommendations for improving the quality and delivery of long-term care services in the Commonwealth.
