44.160 Exclusiveness of board's award or judgment.

(1) (2) Any action prosecuted to award, judgment or final decision, including dismissal, under the provisions of KRS 44.070 to 44.160 shall preclude the right of a claimant to sue the Commonwealth, its cabinets, departments, bureaus or agencies, or its officers, agents or employees in the Board of Claims or any other forum, except as provided in KRS 44.073(5) when the board determines that it has no jurisdiction over the claim. The final determination of the board shall be given the same res judicata and collateral estoppel effect as any other judicial determination; and, if entered as provided in KRS 44.130, it shall be granted the full faith and credit given to judgments from the Commonwealth's courts in this state and the courts of the United States.
