Any work for which a bond issue has been provided may be done by contract or otherwise, in the discretion of the president and trustees of the university. When any contract involves the expenditure of two thousand dollars ($2,000) or more it shall be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. All bids or parts of bids for any such work, or for any supplies, may be rejected by the president and trustees. The president and trustees may do any part of the work by day labor when deemed advisable. Effective:October 1, 1942 History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
