118.385 Preservation of certain voting records.

(1) (2) The Secretary of State and county clerks shall preserve in their respective offices all certificates and petitions of nomination filed therein, for six (6) months after the election for which the nominations were made. Each county clerk and the Secretary of State shall retain and preserve, for a period of twenty-two (22) months from the date of any primary or general or special election at which candidates for the office of presidential elector or member of the United States Senate or House of Representatives are voted for, and only for the precincts in which any such office appears on the ballot all records and papers relative to the voter returns for all the offices voted for in those precincts.
