The Kentucky Wireless Interoperability Executive Committee is hereby created to address communications interoperability, a homeland security issue which is critical to the ability of public safety first responders to communicate with each other by radio. The committee shall advise and make recommendations to the executive director of the Commonwealth Office of Technology regarding strategic wireless initiatives to achieve public safety voice and data communications interoperability. Effective:June 25, 2009 History: Repealed and reenacted 2009 Ky. Acts ch. 12, sec. 10, effective June 25, 2009. -- Amended 2005 Ky. Acts ch. 85, sec. 34, effective June 20, 2005. -Created 2003 Ky.
