323A.025 Effect of expired, suspended, revoked, or inactive license -- Restoration or reactivation of license.

(1) (2) (3) (4) An expired landscape architect's license may be considered expired for not more than two (2) months and only between July 1 and September 1 of any year. No landscape architect with a suspended license shall continue to be styled or known as a landscape architect, or engage in the practice of landscape architecture in this state. A landscape architect with a suspended license may have the license restored to active status as follows: (a) Upon payment of the renewal fee and payment of a penalty fee, as determined by the board, if the suspension was for failure to renew the license in a timely manner; (b) Upon completion of the continuing education requirements as provided for in KRS 323A.100 and payment of a penalty fee, as determined by the board, if the suspension was for failure to comply with KRS 323A.100; (c) Upon completion of the suspension period imposed by the board and payment of a penalty fee, as determined by the board, if the suspension was for any reason specified in KRS 323A.110. No landscape architect with a revoked license shall continue to be styled or known as a landscape architect, or engage in the practice of landscape architecture in this state. A landscape architect with a revoked license may have the licensed restored upon compliance with KRS 323A.040 and payment of a restoration fee, as determined by the board. A landscape architect with an inactive license may continue to be styled or known as a landscape architect, but may not engage in the practice of landscape architecture in this state. A landscape architect with an inactive license may reactivate the license upon approval and payment of a reactivation fee, as determined by the board.
