243.650 Transfer of license to other premises.

In case of destruction by an act of God or casualty for which the licensee was not responsible, of premises for which a license under KRS 243.020 to 243.670 has been issued, the state director who issued the license may, if in his discretion such action is necessary to attain justice, change the license to authorize continuance of business at other premises. No such transfer shall be made unless the licensee has filed a written verified statement of the reasons for the necessity of transfer. If the transfer is made the state director shall indorse a description of the new premises upon the license and shall date and sign the indorsement. Effective:October 1, 1942 History:Recodified 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1, effective October 1, 1942, from Ky. Stat. sec. 2554b-149. Legislative Research Commission Note (6/20/2005). 2005 Ky. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch. Such a correction has been made in this section.
