A state director or a person designated by him may, on his own initiative or on the complaint of any person, institute proceedings to revoke any license under KRS 243.020 to 243.670. A license may be revoked only after the licensee has been afforded the opportunity for a hearing conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B. Effective:July 15, 1996 History: Amended 1996 Ky. Acts ch. 318, sec. 161, effective July 15, 1996. -Amended 1944 Ky. Acts ch. 154, sec. 20. -- Recodified 1942 Ky. Acts ch. 208, sec. 1, effective October 1, 1942, from Ky. Stat. sec. 2554b-142. Legislative Research Commission Note (6/20/2005). 2005 Ky. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch. Such a correction has been made in this section.
