Any person who willfully causes or conspires with or assists another in causing (1) The unwarranted hospitalization of any individual under the provisions of KRS Chapter 210 or (2) The denial to any individual of any of the rights accorded to him under the provisions of KRS Chapter 210 shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000) or imprisoned for a term not to exceed five (5) years or both. History: Amended 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 225, sec. 1; and ch. 332, sec. 27. -- Created 1968 Ky. Acts ch. 90, sec. 61. Legislative Research Commission Note. The amendment of this section by 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 332, sec. 27, was included as a part of 1976 Ky. Acts ch. 225, sec. 1, as enacted.
