The secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet, at the request of the commission, shall have authority to design, build, purchase, lease, maintain, operate, protect, and improve buildings or facilities, including a state archives and records center building, used for the storage of noncurrent records of state and local agencies. The cabinet shall have custody and control of all such buildings and facilities and their contents. History: Amended 1970 Ky. Acts ch. 92, sec. 37. -- Created 1958 Ky. Acts ch. 49, sec. 8, effective June 19, 1958.
