(1) (2) (3) No person shall release a hog or pig from the family Suidae into the wild. No person shall import, possess, or transport in Kentucky any wild or feral pig, Eurasian or Russian boar, or any hybrid of these, whether born in the wild or captivity. This section shall not apply to the accidental escape of animals of the porcine species raised as livestock as defined in KRS 246.010. Effective:July 12, 2012 History: Created 2012 Ky.
