The council in its sole discretion may delegate the following functions to the Office of the Attorney General: (1) Prepare budget estimates of state appropriations necessary for the maintenance and operation of the unified prosecutorial system and make recommendations in respect thereto. (2) Collect statistical and other data and make a report to the council relating to the expenditure of public moneys for the maintenance and operation of the unified prosecutorial system and the offices connected therewith. (3) Carry on a continuous survey and study of the organization, operation, condition of business, practice and procedure of the unified prosecutorial system. (4) Formulate and submit to the council recommendations of policies for the improvement of the unified prosecutorial system. (5) Provide for educational programs for the members of the unified prosecutorial system. (6) Perform such other functions as may be assigned by the council. Effective:January 1, 1977 History: Created 1976 (1st Extra. Sess.) Ky. Acts ch. 17. sec. 3, effective January 1, 1977.
